Must have a master V ticket, MED2 and STCW95 AMSA endorsed. This should be achieved through active and non-intrusive guest interaction. Required to work as part of a high performing team/crew in the provision of the overall cruise experience for guests and employment experience for crew. Required to maintain the highest standards of behavior, discipline and dress appropriate to company policy and image at all times. Required to complete all other duties as directed by Captain including assisting in the galley, bar, wheelhouse or engine room. Such requests will be of a reasonable nature. Food and accommodation is provided free of charge whilst aboard the vessels. Accommodation is on a share basis in male crew quarters. Local candidates will be given preference. QUALIFICATIONS: AMSA Master V Ticket ;Proficiency in Survival Craft; AMSA Endorsed Certificate of Safety Training (CoST); Navigational Watch Rating; Passenger Ship training; AMSA Medical; MSIC Card ; Remote Area First Aid & Advanced CPR; Steering Certificate (issued on board) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES o General maintenance and vessel cleanliness as required by the ship board management. o Lookout/anchor watch duties as required by the ship board management. o Driving of tenders, Zodiacs, Rescue boats and lifeboats as required. o Participation in drills as required by Statutory Regulation and undertake other shipboard/shore side training as required by the Company. o Attend crew meetings o Assist in passenger exchanges and vessel turn around’s as required. o Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the ship board management.
