A family business based in Oban Scotland is looking for a chef for their chartered 17m SY for the summer season. The yacht is used by holiday makers who book the SY from a 5 night up until 11 nights and ax 6 guests. The yacht cruises locally around the stunning coast lie of Scotland. You will share a cabin with the Captain. All the guests and captain are English speaking. The captain is looking for a candidate who can produce well presented yet family style food for their paying guests. You will serve a breakfast of baked breads, cereals and cooked eggs. For lunch salad, soup, fresh sandwiches and for dinner a two course meal of fresh local produce. There is no fryer onboard for safety reasons. The ideal candidate should hold the STCW and food and hygiene level 2. You should have some knowledge of deck for anchoring and lines etc. This would suit someone from a sail background or something who would like to experience yachting with beautiful scenery.
Must have Food and Hygiene level 2 and be able to assist on deck if required.
